KPT Gel Features Tutorial

KPT Gel is a product of MetaCreations and can be found at this site:  MetaCreations.

.

As you will see in figure 1 there are two different places marked, we will take each area one at a time so we can get to know them and what they do.

( Figure #1)

In figure number 1 there's a little white arrow, now if you click this it will open a box like this:

As you can see there's three options. The one we are going to deal with is the first one "load Preset...."

When you click this, a window will open. See Figure # 2.

( Figure #2)

Now number 1 and 2 are sets if you click either one a different set of maps will open "there are the effects that you apply to your work"

The more sets you get the more effects you will have to play with. to install a new set just down load it and if its in zip form just unzip it into C: or "the letter of the drive your psp is on mine is on my D: drive" Program files\Paint shop pro\plugins\kptgel\presets\ EvnMaps. the number three is 2 little arrows that will scroll there you sets of maps if there's more then that's visible in the window.

.Now on to number 2 in figure #1if you click on this button a box will open see figure # 3, Now what these are are gel basics they can also be used as effects on your work's and applied the same way as the sets just pick the one you want to use and click the check mark. As for adding more basic sets I am still trying to find out if there's any and how and where they go to add them to the list I will let you know as soon as I find out.

( Figure #3)

I hope this helps you a little with KPT Gel and how it works.

If you have any questions,  just let me know and I will help if I can.

Or I can find the answer out there some where.
