Card Holder Add-Ons Tutorial

Part 2

"Again this idea came from zibralibra all I did was make them

compatible for psp5 and elaborated on the details"

1) OK now that you have your card holder done go to layers + merge + merge all visible.

2) Now making sure you have room on the left side add a new layer.

3) Now select your line tool use these settings Line type = normal

Width = 12 Now putting your line tool at the right side top of the card holder draw a line that goes 20 pix past the left side of the cardholder.

4) Now go to image + plugins eyecandy inner bevel and use these settings, Width = 6, shape = masa, smoothness = 5, depth = 21, brightness = 72, sharpness = 100, direction = 263, inclination = 68.

5) Now add a new layer.

6) Now select the selection tool and make a rectangle starting at the top right corner and make a rectangle going to the end of the line you made above and going down to with in 30 pix of the bottom of the cardholder.

7) Flood fill the new selection with a pattern contrasting with the cardholder so it is noticeable.

8) Now go to layers merge merge all visible then copy then past as new image and save.

Note: you can forget steps 3 and 4 then use the shape tool set on circle outline = 2 and add rings to connect the front to the back then erase the area's that go through the front so it looks like it disappears and comes back up over the top of the back.

And one more way. after your done making your card holder but before you rotate the card copy merge merge visible and past as new image, then undo the merge and rotate and adjust the card and merge merge visible

now select the copy of the of the card holder you just made copy then open a new image 300X 600 then past as new layer now add a line in a contrasting color from side to side of the copy 12 pix wide. Now click on the finished cardholder and copy then go back to the new image and paste as new layer and align it with the line you just made across the bottom holder and you get the last tag. after you merge visible and copy and paste as new image. Or you can forget the line leave a space and use rings to attach the two halfs as well.

Note you can drop shadow on all of these holder for effect like I did.

I did resize the last one as you can resize all of these to a size you like.
