Crystal Ball Tutorial

1) Open a new image 300X400 transparent 16 mil color. Then flood fill   in black.

2) Now add a new layer.

3) Now using the select tool set at circle, feather 0. Start at 150X200 and go to 250X200.

4) Now save to alpha channel.

5) Now open a pic you want in the Ball and copy and paste into the selection.

6) Now go to selections + invert.

7) Now go to image + effects + drop shadow set at, white, 100, 50, 10, 10.

Then do it again changing the 10, 10 to -10, -10.

8) Now go to selections + Invert.

9) Now go to image + plugin filters + Eyecandy + Inner Bevel set at,

10) Now add a new layer, Then go to selections + Load from alpha channel.

11) Now go to image + effects + drop shadow and using the same setting as above apply it twice again changing the last to from 10, 10 to -10, -10. Then deselect.

12) Now add another new layer,

13) Now using the shape tool lets add a base.

14) Then flood fill it in a pattern or just a solid color, Then using eyecandy buttoniz it.

15) Now drag the #2 layer to the top of the list and erase a small line across the bottom.

16) Add a white sparkle in the reflection line and your done.
