1) Open a new image 300X300 transparent 16 mil. color

2) Set your foreground color to the color you would like the vacuum base to be.

3) Now using the shape tool set at rectangle filled make a rectangle 175X75.

4) Now using the deformation tool hold the Ctrl key down and deform the top to 80 pixels wide.

The Lines show how much is covered!

8) When you have that set merge visible then add a new layer and set your foreground color to red.

9) Now using the shape tool make a rectangle 80X20 then copy it and past as new selection and set it 10 pixels to the side of the first one keeping the top and bottom even with each other.

Then Apply Andromeda cutline set at LPI = 8, wavy elliptical cutlines, shadow = 50 - 100%, curvature = 20, angle = 174, threshold = 92.

Then move it to the center of the small rectangle and leave only 5 pixels out past the bottom edge of the rectangle.

10) Now move layer 1 under the merged layer and merge visible.

11) Now add a new layer then change your foreground color to the color you want your bag to be then using the shape tool make a rectangle 90X125. Then using the deformation tool hold the Ctrl key down and deform the bottom until its only 40 pixels wide. Then apply a pattern to it. Then apply inner bevel set like above changing only the first number to 30 instead of 15.

12) Now select layer 1 and move it under the merged layer. Then move your base so it centered covering just the bottom edge of the bag.

Again the lines show what's covered.

13) Now add a new layer and changing your foreground color to lt. gray make a rectangle 10X125. Then select it with the magic wand and apply Flaming Pear Silver set at color 1 lt. gray, color 2 drk. gray, blur = 40, edges = 75, bands = 100, dots = 75, checkers = 0, glue = normal.

Then move it so its centered in the base and just over the top edge of the base and running off the top of the page like the bag.

14) Now looking at your layers pallet make sure it looks like this.

Merged

layer 2

layer 1

Make a line starting at the top of the base and running off one side as the cord.

Now merge visible and you have your vacuum cleaner.

.

So lets add some carpet

1) Add a new layer to your vacuum and then flood fill it in the color you would like your carpet to be. Then apply eyecandy fur set at 999, 4, 18, 70. Then drag that layer under your merged layer or vacuum layer.

Add a name and motion blur it so it looks like it being vacuumed up under the base or a tube the same way then merge all (flatten) and resize and your done.

I added a perspective shadow to the one at the top of the page before I added the carpet.
