Lets Learn Nodes in PSP 6

Open an image any size, I'm using one 400X400.
Make a shape on it set as vector it can be filled or stroked.
Now if you look at the shape you will see little box's around it there called nodes.

Now on your tool pallet there is a tool called vector object selection
.

Click on this and then look at your tool option pallet you will see a button named node edit click it.

As you see your shape changed from solid to transparent with only the nodes left.
Now if you click and hold on one of the nodes you will be able to move it around and change the shape of your shape.

The black one is the one I moved.

Now if you click on the image the node will turn hollow like the rest, if you click off the image on the desktop the image will quit the node edit mode and your shape will turn solid again.

Now if you want to move a section on the shape that don't have a node you can add one in that spot by going to node edit then hold down the Ctrl key on your key board and clicking in the spot you want to add one.

Now you can move it around the same way you did the last one.

Now you can add all the nodes you want to any shape.

Now when your done and you want to work on this shape with the rest of your tools you need to convert it to a raster layer to do this click on your tool pallet and you should see something like this.

As you see the shape as vector created a new layer,

Now if your right click on the #2 layer you will get this box.

As you can see I highlighted convert to raster click on this and you will now have a shape that you can work with just like any other shape.
